West Entertainment fly Division hires all-star team to manage and grow its CSP business

West Entertainment fly division is excited to announce that it has appointed four industry professionals to oversee its CSP business. Kate Groth, VP Everything, will oversee the division. Kate’s experience dates back to 2000 when she worked for award-winning Qantas Airways. In 2007 Kate moved to the CSP side of the business and has been instrumental in growing three different CSPs’ account portfolios and businesses in senior management roles. “Her skill-set and overall knowledge of the IFE business makes her uniquely qualified to lead WE fly on its path to success”, say Rick Warren, West Entertainment’s Managing Partner.

Kate’s team includes Lindsay Arellano, as Account Director Extraordinaire, to run the day-to-day operation of the recently acquired Virgin America IFE account, as well as working on sales and marketing initiatives. Lindsay has over 7 years of experience and has worked with numerous airlines ranging from Air Transat and Hawaiian to Avianca and Virgin Australia. “Lindsay’s knowledge and experience in account management and programming as well has her style, enthusiasm and ‘can do’ attitude makes her the perfect fit for this team”, Kate says.

Eric Silverstein, Creator of Opportunities, Ops and Tech. Eric joins the team to oversee West Entertainment fly division’s creative and dynamic operations and technical department. “Eric’s 15 plus years in the IFE space brings WE fly an understanding of new and future operations and systems that will benefit all stakeholders, airline clients and content distributors alike”, says Warren.

Joerg Schiffmann, Creator of Opportunities, Sales. Joerg’s 25 years of IFE experience ranging from Sales Director (IFE Services) to Managing Director (Atlas Air) give him an unequal appreciation of all things IFE. “I look forward to working with Joerg as we create and execute our sales plan for West fly. His vast knowledge and accomplishments speak for themselves”, Kate says.
